I've been wondering - I am as excited for Heirs as the next fangirl, but why on earth is it set in high school? Nothing about the synopsis shows me why it couldn't be college.

I mean, its 'high school' lead Lee Min Ho is 26 and he doesn't look younger than his age a la Kim Soo Hyun. He hasn't played a high schooler since BOF, which was almost three-and-a-half years ago. He played someone in their late 20s in his last three dramas (actually, in Faith he was supposed to be 30, I believe) and in two of them he believably (IMO) romanced 30+ yr old actresses. And now he is going back to high school? Why? I mean, from the Goryeo general macking on then-35-yr-old Kim hee Sun to uniforms and teen years?

I haven't seen Park Shin Hye's latest (FBND), but in the drama before that one, Heartstrings, she played a believable college student. She is 23, so I suppose it's less boggling than LMH.

And Kang Min Hyuk was also a college student in Heartstrings. He is 22 and looks awfully boyish so I suppose I can buy it more than LMH but still.

Then there are Kang Ha Neul (I think, is he cast? I am confused by all the announcements) and Kim Woo Bin, who've at least played high schoolers in their last two dramas (To the Beautiful You and Monstar for the former and Gentleman's Dignity and School 2013 for the latter, pluse a TTBY cameo) but seriously, are waaaaay too old to be high schoolers. KWB is 24 and KHN is 23. Dudes, you both need to graduate pronto!

So so so very weird.
