Apparently Jung Woo continues the fine kdrama tradition of all hot police detectives having huge issues - see Song Il Gook in Crime Squad (daughter died as a result of his chasing a suspect), Uhm Tae Woong in both Resurrection and Mawang (in former, he pretends to be his dead twin to wreak vengeance, in latter, he is eaten up by guilt because he accidentally killed someone as a teen and his rich father got him off), Lee Ji Ah in Me Too, Flower (she has huge issues from her psycho parents), Joo Won in Ojakgyo Brothers (abandonment issues due to his mother dumping him), Lee Sung Jae in Poseidon (wife killed by the mob), etc etc. I am beginning to wonder if being screwed up is part of the entrance exam.
